Feeling Overwhelmed? You are not Alone
Let's be real – deciding to see a counsellor isn't always easy, especially when you're dealing with big emotions and life changes. Things can feel exciting, confusing, or just plain overwhelming. It's a lot to handle.
Talking to a counsellor is different from talking to anyone else in your life. It's not like talking to a friend, parent, grandparent, teacher, or any authority figure. It's a space where you can be yourself, without judgment, and where someone is there just to listen and understand you. We'll work together to explore what's going on, at your pace, without any outside pressure.
Confidentiality Matters: You're in control. As a mature minor, what we talk about in our sessions is confidential, with a few legal exceptions (which we'll discuss together). The respect for your privacy is fundamental.
What Brings Young People to Counselling?
There are lots of reasons. Maybe someone suggested it (like a parent or teacher). Maybe you're dealing with tough stuff – relational issues, questions about your future, past challenging experiences, or feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you're concerned about your mental health and want to learn how to manage better your emotions and reactions, and understand yourself better. Whatever it is, we'll work together to understand what's happening and find tools and means to help you cope and thrive.
It's Okay to Not Click: Finding the right counsellor is important. If it doesn't feel like a good fit, that's okay! We can talk about it, and I'm happy to help you find someone who's a better match.
Ready to Give it a Try?
I get it – trying something new can be scary. But you're worth it. I'm here to listen, understand, and support you.
Let's connect for a free 15-minute consultation. We can chat, get to know each other, and see if we'd be a good fit to work together.

Ready to Invest in Yourself?
We live in a world that often prioritizes performance and competition, sometimes at the expense of our well-being. Seeking support for our mental health is a sign of strength, not weakness, but it's something many of us weren't taught. And let's be honest, therapy takes courage and commitment. It's an investment in yourself, and like any investment, it requires effort and your are worth it.
Whether you've been struggling for a long time or are facing new and unexpected challenges, you bring a history of resilience and strength to our sessions. We can work together to build on these foundations. Whether you're navigating grief, health issues, mental health concerns, career transitions, relationship difficulties, or addictive behaviors, we can help you through the changes you're seeking. I understand these struggles, and I'm here to help you find your way forward. We offer a safe and supportive space to take stock of where you are, acknowledge the strength you already possess, and help you unleash the positive change you desire.

Navigating the Ups and Downs of Relationships
Movies often show us the magical "meet cute," but rarely the real work of building a lasting, fulfilling relationship. It's normal for couples to face challenges. Perhaps you're struggling with communication, feeling disconnected, or facing a specific challenge. Whatever you're going through, seeking support is a sign of strength. Whether you're looking to rekindle the spark, navigate a difficult time, or explore your next steps, a counsellor can provide valuable guidance.
Investing in Your Relationship:
Relationship counselling requires honesty and a willingness to look within, but the rewards are profound: a deeper connection, greater understanding, and renewed intimacy. Investing in your relationship is an investment in your future. We can work together to define your goals and give you the tools to create the relationship you desire.

Family Therapy: Creating Positive Change Together
Families are complex systems. When one member experiences change, or external circumstances shift, the whole family feels the ripple effect. These transitions can be challenging, and sometimes families get stuck in patterns that aren't working. We all learn about family dynamics from our own upbringing, and sometimes those patterns can make it difficult to navigate new situations. This isn't about blame; it's about understanding and growth.
While parent coaching can be helpful for younger children, family therapy is often the most effective way to address family issues. In case of children and adolescents, it's not always fair to put the burden of change solely on the child. No matter the age of family members, family therapy provides a collaborative space for everyone to learn, grow, and create positive change while respecting each others.
We offer support for families at every stage, helping you learn new ways to communicate in relational manner, connect, and resolve conflicts.
